I love to see these boys working together!

Adam proudly played the Minotaur in his 6th grade Greek play “Theseus and the Minotaur.” Jon and I got to watch it.

Time off of school allowed us to travel to Centerville for violin lessons with Rosalie while Jon took the boys to the ward Turkey Bowl for football.

That night we took the family to the Dollar Store to buy Christmas gifts for each other. Buying cheapo gifts is not my favorite thing, but Jon really wanted to do that with the kids, and they did enjoy it.

We were so excited to spend Thanksgiving with Kevin and Whitney’s family plus Jake Danneman! The food was so, so tasty and the company super fun!

On Friday, we joined up with the Souths for even more cousin fun! The kids divided into the two vans for a fun ride to Moab!

Everyone enjoyed the breakfast buffet before heading out for another day of adventure.

How can you top seeing three groups of cousins in one week? This was definitely a week full of great memories!

Adam was also a narrator. It was so fun to see him so into his roles!

That night we had a Lund gathering Thanksgiving-style at Barney and Mary’s house.

The grown-ups played games. Lexye still had to lie on her back from her spinal headache.

We headed to Arches National Park.

Keeping up with Mark was a challenge!

I was so glad we made it to such a famous place together.

And what a treat to be with the Souths!

Our groups were different speeds, so we had to periodically wait for everyone to catch up.

Mark was excited to see these ancient petroglyphs. It was too bad the older boys ran off and missed them.

We loved all the various arches.

I loved my company!

Mark, Adam, Christian and Andrew

We ate fast food for dinner. My salad was a little gross.

Jon and Andrew arranged for a few cheap motel rooms. The girls had a room, the boys had a room, and we had two more for us and our youngest kids.

After dinner we watched some TV, played card games, and then after kids were in bed Andrew and Courtenay visited for more games. We taught them how to play Scaramouche, which they really enjoyed.

Cousins!

The hikes were so dreamy for the boys especially.

We ate at Chuck o’Rama for dinner. Man, that place is expensive with a big family!

The kids were in heaven, though, getting to hand with their cousins and eat whatever they wanted!
