PJS Pillows
Since people have been requesting it, here are the pictures I used to document sewing the PJ’s Pillows I made in August 2011.
These were to help remind the kids to do: Prayer, Journal and Scriptures each day. I looked up pillow cover sewing instructions online and altered my sizes for the pillow forms I had. I wish I had more details (and it’s been too long ago now to remember), but this is what I have:
Hopefully this is helpful! Good luck.
Top piece: red binding sewn across top edge. I found a font I liked in Microsoft Word, printed it to the size I wanted, and used that for a template for the felt.
Sew on the letters.
Too lazy to iron my big pieces, I guess.
Sewed down an edge on each side.
Sewed the pocket onto the top pillow piece.
Sewed one of the back pillow pieces onto the pillow, right sides together.
Sewed the other back pillow piece over the other back pillow piece. These overlap, so you can slide the pillow form inside.
Turn it right side out and insert pillow form.
Add journals and scriptures.
