I was asked to arrange a song for my kids to play in the Primary Program this September. I want to include Andrew this time, so we’ll see what I can come up with. Good thing we have several months to practice!

I bought 2 sets of “Zuki Beads” for Adam and Amy. Adam loves that he can reach the beads and move them himself each time he completes a correct repetition. (It attaches right to the music stand.)

On Monday, Adam and Andrew played their very first duet together: French Folk Song. Now I need to arrange a part for Adam so they can play in harmony together. So cool!

We are sure blessed that M’Jean kept all of her instruments and shares them with us! (We are borrowing the 1/10 from a friend.)

By our teacher’s recommendation, we play the Suzuki CDs while the boys are going to bed. They love it, and it’s a privilege they earn by being quiet and staying in bed at bedtime. Listening has made Adam’s review of Book 1 super easy, and I’m sure it will help in learning their upcoming pieces, too.
