Conference Binders!
OK, I loved using the Conference binders we made this year! Creating the flow of speakers as they happened with the stickers was so fun. I thought that having to draw pictures of the members of the Seventy would be lame, but it was actually really fun. Natalie snickered after drawing each person, thinking her depiction looked funny.
I determined that I need my own binder! I took over Adam’s after he lost interest, and was addicted in no time. But then he wanted to do it again, and I felt all let down :o) So next time, I’ll have my own binder just for me!
I learned that we only have a “Solemn Assembly” when a new President of the Church is sustained or when a new temple is dedicated or for other special reasons called for by the First Presidency. I was left waiting for the statistical report and auditing report. Maybe next Conference?
I’d love to know any suggestions or improvements you have after using my General Conference packet, and what you liked most. Please share!
Saturday night, Natalie gave our family prayer and said, “maybe I should try to pray only with thanks.” She did. I was so happy that she remembered what Elder Bednar taught!
I love Natalie’s spelling of “sacerment.”
Amy picked out about one word for each speaker. I love that she chose “angels” for Elder Holland’s talk.
I love Amy’s self-portrait as well as her depiction of our rainy day.
